Xun Pan playing Schumann's Kinderszenen (a.k.a "Scenes from Childhood"), completed in 1838 and a favorite of Schumann's piano works. Robert Schumann (1810 – 1856) was a German composer and influential music critic. He is regarded as one of the greatest and most representative composers of the Romantic era.
Photos from the YouTube clips are taken from the Amish neighbor at Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the county where my family and I are living now.
The following is from my 12 year old niece, Ellen. I really have no idea what she was talking about:
"One time, at a piano concert, Schumann had sang to the audience, "Lets dance to this song! Lets dance to this song! Lets d-d-d-d-d-d-d~ dance to this song!" Back then, many composers were old fashioned and didn't have taste in modern music, but Schumann was different, he was once the #1 youtuber in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He even inspired Wong Fu Productions and kevjumba into making their video on "Dance to this Song." No composer has ever done this, he is a youtube inspiration!"
